Well, well....it seems that Congress just left for CHRISTMAS break! You know...that holiday that it is not allowed to acknowledge? That same congress who can send "holiday" cards to their constituents but best not mention CHRISTMAS, or said expenditures are not covered? This particular administration and it's minions have gone out of their way to eradicate Christmas and the very sound of the word leaves them trembling with anger. This is the first season I remember Christians having to fight so hard to put up nativity scenes, share a Christmas greeting, or have their elected officials in our predominantly Christian nation be under fire for acknowledging it. As Fox news has deemed, it is indeed a "War on Christmas".
It sounds to me like the "I believe in nothing" police have decided they want "the cake" of their tree, gifts, and perks, but they want to "eat it too". If Congress can't acknowledge Christmas, they need to work and get their jobs done. Our president and his family doesn't need a vacation at our expense to celebrate a holiday he and his administration doesn't want aknowledged. Our postal system doesn't need Christmas pay....they need to clock in and deliver my mail...And every single atheist that takes a paid work vacation day for CHRISTMAS needs to either give that pay back, or volunteer to work. Hypocrisy is alive and well in our illogical government hallways. So, Merry Christmas to all of my sisters and brothers in Christ! As for the rest of you......where's my mail?!

The election of our lifetime is coming close enough that my thoughts are running to the days after it takes place.
For the past year, polls are increasingly pointing out a majority of unhappy Americans, but in the last few weeks, the in-fighting between conservatives plus the naysayers predicting Obama can 'work his magic' again on the sheep is leaving me with some uneasy feelings.
I, like so many other Christians not only in America, but across the world, have prayed and are trusting that God will guide His people no matter what happens, but I know in my heart that this is our last chance at stopping the socialism and entitlement age that the current administration is fueling and feeding. Once the "goodies" for the masses become so entrenched that taking them away means angry street mobs and dangerous confrontations, we might be truly lost. Once the great light of liberty is extinguished here, there is no other place to go and no great nation to stand up for oppressed humanity.
I will continue to hope, pray, and work for awareness and continue to believe that the true American spirit will come forth and save our nation for our children, but if I let my mind wander to "what if?".......
I know that my faith and beliefs will be greatly tested because I see myself with fewer friends and family members that I can keep in my life. How can we sit across a table and break bread with family members that we know will have caused the downfall of all we believe in? How can we work peaceably and comfortably alongside "traitors" to all we hold dear? I just don't think I will be able to stomach it, because you see....this is no 'normal' election where we can agree to disagree, and then go watch the game.....THIS election is "make or break". This election will change our nation forever...for the better or for the worse. This election will cause mighty splits in families and between neighbors, the likes of which probably will not have been seen since the Civil War.
Please do all that you can to make sure everyone around you knows what is at stake this November....and that is only a start. The Congress needs to be cleaned out and cleaned up. Something has to be done on all levels of government to unravel the mess..But we have to start making people aware of what we have to lose.....in 2013.

H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E
Today it was announced that President Obama's job approval rating had dropped to a rate lower than that of any president in modern history...including Jimmy Carter's. What really started my ire this morning was when the news anchors read this pronouncement with something akin to shock and awe! Have they been living under rocks for the past three years?
And then throughout my day, I have had occasion to hear, read, and ponder his supporter's excuses. Add to that, having a friend point out that some of that rating is attributed to his 'base' that is disappointed he has not carried out more of his big government agenda.
EXCUSE ME?!....There are people that LIVE here, WORK here, EAT here, and benefit from all the freedoms America has provided through the very blood of those noble enough to maintain it for us and YET espouse that we are too free?? I have had it up to my eyeballs with so called "Americans" that support Mao, Che, Hugo, and Castro. I am sick to death of seeing people carrying Ipods, sleeping in North Face tents, wearing J Crew sweaters defecating on flags and police cars, while vowing to destroy our nation... Big, fat, loud, obnoxious baseball hat wearing film producers who are worth millions, marching for the "little man" against the "big man" who really is the "working man"....Celebrities whose talent could be poured into a thimble, but live massive, fantastical lifestyles via the "donations" of their capitalistic fan base....Confused and depressed talk show hosts with political aspirations....and movie stars that never graduated from high school instructing us on economics....It's like we've fallen down the rabbit hole and we can't get up!
More than ever, I fear that our great nation is in danger from it's very citizenry....that we will fall from the inside. Yes, we have a socialism-or-hell bound administration....Yes, we have career politicians lining their own pockets that can't agree, and yes, we have debt that is crippling...but even scarier is that we have a nation full of spoiled, entitled, ignorant, ungrateful, and uneducated hypocrites. God have mercy on us all.

Where will you go?

My friends, we are fast losing a critical war for the future of our nation and our children. This may very well be the last election we have before our country permanently becomes something we don't recognize.
When did it happen? One small slow fade at a time...How did it happen? We all were not paying attention.
I am as guilty as the next person for assuming that the people we have been electing have been "handling" things the way we would like them to. WRONG! It was a mistake, and one that I have been jarred into realizing should never be repeated again. On the one hand, I am thankful that the catastrophe that is the Obama administration has happened because it has awakened the great sleeping giant, but on the other, we have noone else to blame but ourselves for becoming so complacent.
For the past couple of years, I have been speaking out and feverishly campaigning and spreading awareness because I am scared for my children's futures. Realizing that statistically, less than 50% of Americans now actually pay taxes and the majority are dependent in some form or fashion on the government, I am extremely concerned that those who rely so much on that government support will be our downfall in 2012. I have been racking my brain trying to form an escape plan for my family in my mind....where will we go if we lose our America? Where can we move? Where can we find work? Where can we BE FREE?!?!
And here's where the buck stops.....If we lose freedom here, we've lost it for the entire world. If we allow Socialism to defeat us in 2012, our world will never be the same...not just our country. America is the last beacon of freedom.....She is the only place people still want to come to and can come to. Here is the only land where we still have freedoms, although they are in danger more and more each day. So, my friends, we have no choice....speak out, campaign, share information, and 'speak the truth even if your voice shakes'. We have a legacy to protect and defend. We have forefathers that gave their very lives....we have a way of life to protect. We can't lose, because if we do......where will you go?

What is up with atheists?!
Watching the news of the last six months, and seeing how the atheists have organized into a 'religion' of their own to fight, press suit, and try to ban Christian activities has left me more confused than ever.
See, I always heard atheists believe in NOTHING. That's right, dumb, huh? But still, people do have the right to be stupid, even though I believe too many are abusing the privilege. After all, it takes a WHOLE lot more faith and imagination to believe that this creation is one big accident that has yet been able to be replicated...but I digress.
If as an atheist, your belief is that we are here by sheer luck, and when we die, we return to 'nothing', then what in the great doodah day is your problem with OTHER people believing otherwise? It seems to me that much ado is made about NOTHING, that atheists have become obsessed with that NOTHING, and are doing everything in their power to get rid of NOTHING. Are they perhaps afraid of NOTHING? You can see why I'm confused.
I believe in the one true God and that he sent His one son, Jesus Christ, to the world in human form to suffer and die for our sins so that not only can we be reconciled to God for eternity, but that we can live a fuller life here on earth in peace and victory. I pray that others find that salvation and peace, but I believe in the religious tolerance and freedom that we still have in America.....except I'm beginning to see that organized atheists do not, and seem to have an agenda against NOTHING. Me thinks thou dost protest too much......

Somebody call a WAAAAAAmbulance.......
I'm absolutely sick to death of this American horror story unfolding in the state of Wisconsin. I'm shocked by the video of all of these "teachers" , illegally away from their jobs, waving horribly hateful signs all in the state capital in front of impressionable young people that they drug along with them. (I wonder what Ms. Pelosi will have to say about the "Hitler", "Nazi", and "Mussolini" signs?)
Where is the indignation that our public school systems are in such disarray and such dismal failures in spite of the huge amounts of tax dollars shoveled to their union? Where is the concern for the future of the state's economy? for their JOBS? What would they do in their own homes with their own budgets if they were facing bankruptcy?
AND then there are our democratic "statesmen".....elected to serve the people.....walking out on their jobs as well.
They should be fired...just like any of the rest of us that walked out on our jobs would be. The people of the state of Wisconsin VOTED for their governor to take on the tough job of getting the budget back on track. It's SELFISH for those teachers to illegally walk off the job..and just like the air traffic controllers Reagan fired, so should they be. It's SELFISH for those democratic officials to walk out on the jobs they took an oath to fulfill and every last one of them should be fired and replaced. I'm in disbelief that this group of teachers is refusing to pay a share (not even half what the rest of us pay) of their benefits rather than risk 6000 of them losing their jobs. My family has been through four different layoffs since this country's economic downturn. We didn't have the option of walking out of a job while being paid and picketing the firms making the budget decisions that would cut these jobs. I don't even KNOW anyone privileged enough to blatantly LIE about being sick and show up on t.v. for three days and keep their job!
Idiots...every last one of them,idiots. We are not in danger from a global warming hoax...we are in danger of global stupidity...and selfishness. They should all be ashamed of the example they are setting for those students and for replacing the concern for their students, fellow teachers, and fellow citizens, with such greed.
