Love it or leave it

Suppose that you had a craving for a McRib sandwich. Not only would you love to have one for dinner, but your family also likes the idea so you all head to your nearest…..Burger King? Once inside, you are told that McRib sandwiches aren’t on the menu. You decide to demand that they figure out how to make one……and while they’re at it, to be prepared to provide you with a Big Mac for lunch the next day. You then proceed to the phone book to find the nearest lawyer in case they find it difficult to accommodate your demands. Now, wouldn’t it have made more sense to just go to McDonalds?...the restaurant that is famous for McRibs and Big Macs? OF COURSE IT WOULD!
Why do immigrants come to the Unites States? To seek what can’t be found in their own country…individual freedoms, unlimited potential, and the desire for a better life. At least that’s what “coming to America” is supposed to be about. There seems to be a trend afoot that is disturbing. Not only are there people sneaking in for diabolical reasons via criminal activity, but there’s a NEW immigrant…..one that isn’t interested in assimilation or our beliefs and culture. They want to keep THEIR language, their own flag, and their own separate law. If allowed to do so, this would indeed fundamentally change the nation that we are. We would then become just like those ‘other places’ that the immigrants left to begin with. What exactly is the point?! If you love your current flag, language, laws, religion, and lifestyle, …….STAY WHERE YOU ARE.
Whether you are an immigrant or a citizen born in the United States, the bottom line is this…if you don’t cherish what America is then you do not deserve to be an American.

"Sticks and Stones......

…will break our bones, but words will never hurt us”. Remember that? Well, today it seems that “words” are the chosen weapon of the VERY angry and endangered leftist machine. Too many people are allowing words to have way too much power. Backed into a corner of their own making, traitors of the people’s will feel the winds of change in the upcoming midterm election and their desperation is making for some very ugly behavior that has nothing to do with the issues. Hypocrisy, added to their trademark double standards and intolerance are the themes of the last weeks of these historic times. Words are sucking the freedom out of our country. Words are being used politically in our oh-so important midterms because the progressives that are stealing our foundations and beliefs have turned into the angry, venomous, and bitter defenders of a failed attempt at socializing our beloved nation.

Guess what? The American people are angry too!! They are angry that their wishes have not only been ignored, but because they have been CALLED ignorant by the very people they employed to represent them. There is anger that our country is being sold to foreigners on a daily basis to finance power hungry politicians. The faith and morality of the people is being mocked and forsaken. Illegal criminals are being allowed full access to our resources with the blessings of our “president” and his team of treasonous appointees. We are embarrassed by his bowing and acquiescence to foreign powers and enemies. Our grandchildren’s future economic security and patriotism is being thrown away.
Words….which used to be just that…words…….are now responsible for our loss of ‘freedom of speech’ in the name of ‘political correctness’. We can no longer call people who they are, what they are, or allow the truth to have full disclosure. “Honor” rallies are offensive? “Aliens” are demeaned by the term? Muslims can’t be offended, discussed, or referred to in any form of group reference, HOWEVER Christians can be dissected, vilified, harassed, embarrassed, and be the object of vulgar humor? Muslim beauty queens can be ‘pole dancers’ but Christian beauty queens can’t give voice to an opinion about the value of traditional marriage? Our National Organization of Women, who fought so long and hard for women’s rights are ok with Meg Whitman, gubernatorial candidate for California, being called a whore by her opponent simply because he was at a loss as to how to overcome her pulling ahead of him in the polls? Where are our outraged leftist sisters?! I’m sick and tired of hearing about tolerance for everybody EXCEPT those that have an opinion that is different from the “tolerant”. If Meg Whitman can turn California’s economy around and provide jobs for its people, then that obscene attempt at discrediting her reputations matters not at all to me.
As for her illegal former housekeeper………PUT HER IN JAIL! She collected way too much money and benefits for way too long illegally, having forged legal documents and perjuring herself. Why are criminals celebrated? It’s very obvious that a businesswoman smart enough to operate a multi-billion dollar corporation is probably smart enough to have done her homework, utilizing an employment agency that vetted its employees. Which brings the other question….Why haven’t they been prosecuted? Why is this illegal criminal paraded around as a victim?
Citizens are expected to carry identification but it offends our criminal population to do so, SO WE SUE OUR LAW ENFORCERS?

In the last week or so, I’ve heard a conservative grass roots candidate referred to as a “witch” because she admitted a long time ago to having a friend in high school who dabbled in it and she was intrigued by it. SO WHAT? Someone in high school tried something less than smart? Jeez people. I honestly don’t care if she’s Bozo the Clown as long as she represents the will of her constituents, works to erase the oppressive issues forced on the people by the current mistake of an administration, and holds them accountable for it. What about the gubernatorial candidate with a love child…who also spoke his truth about exposing young children to the gay education agenda? Jimmy can crack corn, and I STILL DON’T CARE. Will he work for his people to correct the wrongs of the socialist agenda? Give him his chance and leave his past mistakes alone. We had to live through the embarrassment of an immoral president actually cavorting IN the White House during his tenure. These are serious times with serious issues that need some new representatives that work for their people. We are going to have to give up on the notion of finding a perfect human being. We need people whose priorities are cleaning the system out.
We have been reduced to hearing our government referring to the entrepreneurs, dream builders, risk takers, and job creators that make America a land of opportunity as “the very rich” that don’t deserve tax breaks, deregulation, or assistance of any kind. Finally… we have our uber-liberal…the most hypocritical of all hypocrites…….the most intolerant of the “open minded”………the talk show hosts, celebrities, and pundits who insist on championing terrorists as ‘torture victims’ , Muslims as misunderstood, communist dictators as heroes, and describing those of us who pray as lacking in intellect. For whatever reason, these fringe elements that exist solely on the goodwill of the paying and viewing public have appointed themselves as “word police”, BUT ONLY FOR THOSE WITH DIFFERING VIEWS FROM THEIR OWN.

I, like so many others, am finished. I am through being concerned about reshaping truth to suit the palates of the illogical. It’s time to tell it like it is…….yes, call a socialist a socialist, a terrorist a terrorist, a Muslim a Muslim, a criminal a criminal, and a traitor a traitor. Wrong is wrong. It’s time to hold our governing representatives accountable for their actions and their crimes against our country and its constitution. And I for one, don’t care if those new public servants consist of clowns, doctors, former witches, preachers, wrestling empire owners, loud opinionated fathers, savvy successful businesswomen, or people that speak too much of their mind. Bring on the change! The REAL CHANGE!

Have You Had Enough Yet?

Our president and his attorney general have just filed suit on behalf of criminal invaders against American citizens. As if this were not hard enough to believe, consider that they are using the citizen’s taxes to finance it. It was also announced this week that there would NOT be any enforcement or action taken against those cities harboring criminals as “sanctuary cities”.
In the great state of Arizona, its governor and her people have taken action to enforce federal law that our nation’s administration has decided to ignore. Great care has been utilized by the state of Arizona’s legislators and attorneys to insure that every constitutional right is protected and that no illegal action will be tolerated in the enforcement of ridding the state of drug lords, kidnappers, rapists, murderers, thieves, and those draining our resources that are here illegally from another country. This is a job our federal government is already supposed to be doing. Missouri and a few other states already have this law in operation, but our current administration has decided to start its 2012 campaign for the Hispanic vote early by suing the state of Arizona in a legal action that not only is it destined to lose, at great cost to us, but that makes absolutely no legal or common sense.
In a week that follows continuous news stories including the New Black Panther rants to “kill white babies”, legal action due to violations involving trading jobs for campaign seats, claims of voter fraud involving hundreds of felons in the election of a senator, claims of voter fraud against the Clinton campaign in the 2008 election, the incompetency and lack of leadership in cleaning up a 3 month long oil spill tragedy, the mandate given to our national space program to “reach out to Muslims”, and the attempt at passing yet another stimulus package when the first one has yet to improve the economy or the job situation, I have to ask…..America, have you had enough yet?!

Seeing Red.........

I think the time has come for all of those bent on destroying this country with their ignorance to step up and take responsibility for their actions. Besides the fact that anyone voting for the socialist ‘prince of fools’ that we are now enduring owes Americans a huge apology….(especially if they are still clinging to that foolish notion that they were right in doing so by STILL sporting their treason on bumper stickers, spouting their ‘hate’ of morality, tradition, freedom, and law abiding on television and in the media), I believe that they should put their lives where their mouths have been, so to speak.

Let’s start, for instance, with the raging unemployment………Why haven’t all Obama supporters stepped up and stood up for their ‘hope and change’ by being first in line to volunteer for the layoffs? In my opinion, employers forced by this tax and spend administration to cut its work force should start with an inventory of the parking lot. All those still foolish enough to have Obama/Biden bumper stickers should be the first to be eliminated. I mean, don’t they believe in the suffering of all equally? the sacrifice of one’s individual earned wealth for the good of all? Embracing change?

They should gladly offer to give up their employee benefit of health insurance rather than have those that have no choice have theirs cancelled. They should be the first to step up and say “yes we can!” when their premiums go up. How about a “yes, I will!” move over and give an illegal alien the chance to do their job for less pay?

Why not leave their homes so that the millions that want to come here and work without paying taxes, use up our tax revenues for education and health care when they are in fact criminals, can have a nice comfy place to live? After all, they don’t seem to have a problem with anyone else suffering for the cause.

Are you opposed to off shore drilling? Do you want to boycott BP? I'll bet you even support the idea of a moratorium on deep water drilling....never mind that the gulf states are dependent on that income and Americans would love to be independent of foreign oil provision. I think it would be just great for you to park your car....permanently. Stop using any of the oil products that you so despise the harvesting of. Learn to ride a horse.

Love Canada’s health care system? MOVE. Show us how much. How about Mr. Celebrity that makes gazillions off Americans seeing his movies? He thinks Hugo Chavez is misunderstood. MOVE to Venezuela and live with the darling man. Give up your celebrity perks and income…isn’t that the ideal you espouse?

Anyone that feels that radical Islamic terrorists are victims, should pack (not much…leave your capitalistic earnings to divvy out to others) and immediately move to an Arabic country to convert. (You’d have to, you see, because without converting, you’d still be an “infidel” and destined to be killed.) If you happen to be a female, be sure and let me know how much more fulfilling that lifestyle is for you.

If you feel that America and its majority of Judeo-Christians have been wrong to support God’s people, Israel, as allies, and that the poor Hamas- supported Palestinians are simply misunderstood, then it would be enlightening to see you stand behind your beliefs and ideals by moving to Palestine to live and work. Better yet, perhaps if you’re a woman, you should try out Iran. I hear that the U.N. just appointed the leader of that nation to the international women’s rights committee. You would get to experience that enlightened lifestyle first hand!

Entitlements may be more your thing………Then, might I suggest that you start planning a huge yard sale? Sell as much as you can. Start setting aside as much of your salary as you can (if you’re lucky enough to have a job right now) and look up the folks that were excited to see Mr. Obama elected so that they would no longer have to worry about paying a mortgage. They’ll be so excited to see you and your generous donation to their lifestyle!

As controversial a subject as it is, abortion is simply wrong, no matter your religious or spiritual background. I find it hard to understand why liberals don’t admit that. Isn’t a child’s life more sacred and valuable than a TREE? Isn’t it more important to protect human life than terrorists? Why is it so easy to overlook the skull puncturing death of a human being, yet profess “hatred” of interrogating terrorists in any way that might offend them? Why would we finance the support of criminal immigrants but think that unborn AMERICAN children are not worthy of living here?

There is something terribly wrong in our country right now. There are things happening that simply do not make sense. Ignorance seems to be contagious and brainwashing, the norm.
We are being destroyed from within by people that seem to have had their minds removed, rinsed out, turned backwards, and reinserted. HOWEVER…..I am willing to accept that there may be people that think they are right in being opposed to everything the majority of Americans stand for. I am simply proposing that, since the rest of us have had enough, it’s past time for them to put their beliefs to the fire by living them. It’s time to “put up or shut up”.

America's Idol

I recently came across the following anonymous quotation:

This statement pretty much summed up the source of my many months of frustrations….How could adult, informed voters possibly not see the huge mistake that voting for such a man could be?! He came from “nowhere”………had virtually no experience……..and talked a little too smoothly. He claimed to be an advocate for transparency, lower taxes, lower unemployment, less spending, ending lobbyist and union strongholds, and uniting the American people. As it turns out, those were all lies. But all one had to do was to pay attention to those whom he chose to associate with, the extreme leftist activities he had been involved with, the votes he cast in his short 183 days in congress, and those he might call mentors. (I would highly recommend “The Manchurian President”, just released, for a condensed shortcut to learning just where this man came from and who helped him get here.)

This is not the first time in history that God’s people have chosen an idol for themselves….a distraction from truth…..an escape from reality.
In chapter 32 of Exodus, the people that God had made covenant with, rescued through many miraculous signs and events from those that enslaved them, and had quite simply been left to rest while Moses met with God on Mt. Sinai, became paranoid and impatient. They had been favored by, loved by, led by, and rescued by Almighty God and for a time, lost sight of who they were and to whom they belonged. They made their own idols out of the gold that they wore. God’s punishment was harsh and swift.

God’s fingerprints are on the very beginnings of this great nation and all throughout its founding. Our ancestors and forefathers were Judeo-Christian and all founding documents for our country, as well as those for the individual states, include prayers and thanks to God, giving Him praise and credit for our many blessings.But this nation is paying a high price for its renouncement of our heritage and its mindless march into depravity. For a citizen to call themselves a Christian, a follower of our Christ, and to support someone to lead in our land that is in favor of enslaving men through entitlement, murdering babies inside mother’s wombs, and who would choose to ignore God’s laws to allow the debasement of holy marriage is just another sign of the decay that this country reeks of. Lying to his people, ignoring their constitution and their wishes, and debasing our country in the face of our enemies are daily events in our new reality. Endangering our security and delivering us into the hands of our enemies earned him a “peace prize” from the same entity that gave the most notorious violator of women’s rights, the nation of Iran, a seat on the committee for promoting women’s rights!! It seems that in the new reality we live in, down is now up, and wrong is now right.

Many call those suffering from the disease of progressivism and socialism, “Obama Zombies”. I have met people that claim to support this man but they can’t tell you anything about his policies, background, or where he stands on issues of importance to our nation. I know people that support him simply because of his skin color. (This, my fellow Americans, is racism in its purest form.)
To esteem a human and follow them so blindly, …someone that is contrary to all that is right about America, and the opposite of what we need in leadership in a Christian nation, is a form of idolatry.
For too many years moral decline and depravity have gone unchecked in this nation, and the rise of someone that is seen as a “savior” to hordes of dissatisfied, selfish, guilty, scared, treasonous, or elitist people may be God’s way of allowing consequences for us.
My hope and prayer is that it will be a wake-up call…..a revival…….and a call for God’s people in this nation to remove their heads from the sand and BE HIS CHURCH. The kind of emptiness that exists in humanity that allows our current situation is a cry for help. There are too many people in this “one nation under God” that do not know Him. There were too many people looking for a savior in the wrong place, and like the unknown author quoted above…………those people are the ones that our nation may not survive if Christ’s own do not give voice to His teachings. We can no longer be intimidated by ‘political correctness’, ‘persecution of Christians’, Hollywood, and the prince of this world.
America has put an idol in the place that our God belongs………what are we going to do about it?

Consumer Warning: Healthcare Reform does not prevent death.

On the eve of one of the most historic weekends in our nation, I have been watching the pundits discuss ‘the vote’ with congressmen and women, radio and talk show hosts, and political columnists, pollsters, and strategists. One of the recurring things I’m hearing the democratic voices saying is ‘over 40,000 people die each year from lack of health care.'
I have two things to say about that…………..One is that those people obviously are not aware that they can walk into any health institution and can’t be legally refused care, thus our huge bill for our illegal immigrant population. Secondly, and most importantly, WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE and health care reform is not going to prevent that.
Quality of life can be enhanced by good health care and for now, good health care can only be found in the United States, which is why so many people come here for treatment. Even the Canadian Prime Minister was here recently for his heart surgery.
Once the socialists and progressives begin destroying and dismantling what currently exists, admittedly it needs improvement, we will be left with a yoke of government that we will be hard pressed to remove. There are many, many, many great Americans with great ideas and suggestions for cheaper, more efficient and more cost effective ways to repair those things that need to be repaired without a government takeover.
And yes………..even with affordable, quality health care, each and every one of us will die one day. The more important question for us, is what then? Those of us bought with the blood of Jesus and sealed for eternity with our Creator will be truly free and happy at last, but what will we leave behind on this earth for our children and grandchildren? Are there politicians in this process that actually think they will escape judgment for the atrocities that they have brought upon this once great and Godly nation? Perhaps it’s time to consider more than their vote…their political career…..and the legal consequences.

Denial...or mental illness?

Okay, I’m confused…………..REALLY confused. Mr. Obama just gave his THIRTY FIFTH speech on health care reform. He has admitted that he is committed to using the “nuclear option” that both he and his fellow democratic senators very vocally opposed in 2006 when it was suggested as a means to end filibusters. He obviously has nobody advising him and never turns on a television. I have to assume he never looks at the protestors on the front lawn, and is not allowed internet access; otherwise he would be most surely aware that the American people are completely against the government takeover of health care by 3 to 1.

I have never seen a person so wrapped up in his own ego and so convinced that he alone holds the only vote that matters in this great republic. This is a man that campaigned with promises to end bi-partisan strife, rid D.C. of lobbyists, and as a moderate claiming to have an answer to end government spending and produce more jobs. YET, here we are over a year later….we’ve watched him placate unions, lobbyists, and extreme leftist radicals. He has done NOTHING but increase our debt ceiling, our deficit, our spending, and chip away at our status as a world power. He has apologized for our uniqueness and our beliefs in personal freedoms. The jobless rate is rising higher, and “hope” has turned to “hopelessness”. As Mitt Romney so eloquently put it, it’s time that “truth” trumps “hope”.

At times I feel like I'm in a really bad, really sad movie. WHEN WILL AMERICA WAKE UP AND RID ITSELF OF THIS SHAME?! I hope I wake up and shake myself this coming November and that I am then able to sink to my knees in a huge prayer of thankfulness. I am still debating whether or not we are saddled with a seriously ill president or if he is just in such denial that he no longer recognizes truth. In either case, it's time for him to go.

One Nation Under God....Still

I hope that you’ll watch this wonderful, short history lesson given in congress by Congressman Randy Forbes in May of 2009. Our current president, Barack Hussein Obama, has stated publicly that the Unites States is not a Christian nation but a nation of many religions, making it even more obvious that his education of his country’s history is sorely lacking. (Or perhaps making it obvious that he has a distaste for it and that there may be even an underlying desire to eradicate that history and that faith in favor of a more ‘world view’ approach in changing our country to meet his socialist and apologetic standards.)
There is not one state constitution in this nation that does not thank God, honor God, or give credit to God for its freedoms, independence, statehood, and status. From the first foot set on a ship to head to the Americas, there was a desire to worship the one true God, and from the very inception of what we now know as the United States of America, our God was the cornerstone of every document, law, and process enacted. It was normal and common for sessions concerning our governance to be opened, guided, and closed with prayer. Our armed forces, our judicial branch, our national buildings, monuments, architecture, protocol, and everything this nation was built with, upon, and around, sought the guidance of, protection of, and acknowledged the sovereignty of our one true God; The God of the whole counsel of the Bible.
Christians coming here to worship freely never intended to force that faith, but to practice it in freedom from persecution. All citizens are given equal rights to worship freely. Unfortunately, as the world calendar is speeding toward the day of Christ’s return, we are seeing biblical predictions coming true, and in America, this last bastion of God’s light, Satan is fighting desperately and fiercely. Horrible perversions and evil “religions” are given free rein to vulnerable people and young minds, and Christians are becoming more and more persecuted and unpopular. Tolerance is no longer a two way street and is now used to describe allowing everything BUT the goodness and freedom in Christ to be shared.
In Timothy, chapter 3, Paul warns that the ‘last days’ will begin to be characterized by people “being lovers of themselves, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.”………..Sound familiar?! Certainly nobody but our God knows the time of his return, but He has given us the undeniable means to diagnose that we don’t have long. He has been patient, not wanting any to perish, but the clock is ticking.
God’s people in God’s blessed nation must put on His armor and fight! Get up and fight…….we are battling unseen forces and we must prove to the kingdom of hell that we will get up and prove faithful to our God! We must call upon the power of God and GET UP! This IS one nation under God that was and still is a beacon of freedom to the world and a testimony of His blessings for His people.

The Great American Snow Job

How else could anyone describe one of the heaviest snowfalls in quite some time shutting down Washington D.C. amidst the efforts of the current administration trying to “snow” the American people by destroying their republic, as anything except divine justice?


And if that is not enough to make one take pause, the eco-billionaire himself, Al Gore, has gone strangely silent amidst the admissions of the scientists responsible for scamming the public with false information about our planet’s status. The latest fact released was that there has been NO global warming change for the last 15 years! The temperatures dropped so suddenly and deeply in parts of Florida that lizards grown cold were dropping from the trees.

All over this nation, the cold winter weather has been on beautifully brazen display. It seems even Punxsutawney Phil couldn’t be persuaded to join the global warming bandwagon.

For the last year, we’ve all been seeing ‘snow’ in the form of lies, deceptions, disregard, insults, and failure to fulfill the will of the American people by our seated President and congress. We’ve watched “leaders” bribe, extort, and hide in darkness to carry out hurtful and unwanted agendas. That this snow storm has peaked, literally, amidst the growing passion of the people to right a miscarriage of government, is oh so inspiring and refreshing! The tea party and the American people’s resolve to see change in this coming November’s mid-term congressional election is snowballing. One storm can be paralleled with the actual snow storm shutting down D.C.

Divine Justice? You betcha’…………..and I for one say “Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!”

The Blame Game

“He did it!” “She did it first!” “It’s not my fault.”


If you’ve heard these words way too often, it’s probably because you’re a parent or work in some capacity with children. It takes a real strong measure of maturity to accept responsibility for one’s actions.

This is not a maturity we are seeing in our seated president. After a solid year in office, during which there has been staggering economic blows and record unemployment, other than his constant campaign speeches about how he is our answer for all our woes, there has been little to no evidence of answering to any of the problems this administration has created, and is still creating, other than to blame his predecessor, or the administration before him. If you listen to any White House representative on any news show or press conference, they are all quick to pull out the finger and point it backwards.

Unfortunately for those who try to deceive the interested and participating Americans, but fortunately for us, in this age of the internet and information technology, we don’t have to take anybody’s word for it. Oh, I know all too often, the tendency for the apathetic citizen waiting for “Big Brother” to come on, is to accept without hesitation or question that anything uttered by our highest officeholder on national media can’t be anything but true.

But I checked some facts and I’d like to share them with you……and also to encourage you to research your own information……….

Let’s start with the elephant in the room…..healthcare spending….. Private health care spending did grow an average of 6.3% from 2001 through 2008, HOWEVER private health spending actually grew faster BEFORE Bush took office. In Clinton’s last three years, it grew 7.9%, 7.1%, and 6.7% respectively. In the 1980’s, it grew roughly 11.3% per year and in the 1970’s, 12.1% per year. As for UNINSURED, that number has held at about 15% of the population for the last twenty years….no unusual or recent catastrophic growth. These uninsured census responders were NOT asked if they chose to remain uninsured for reasons other than affordability.(obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau)

Then, there’s the big deficit issue. Obama claims he inherited all this debt that Bush created. Well, according to “U.S. Statistical Abstract”, (Table 457), the deficits DECLINED from 2004-2007, which were the years reflecting budgets passed by Republican congresses. The average deficit over all of Bush’s eight years was 2% of GDP, which is BELOW THE PREVIOUS FOUR DECADE AVERAGE OF 2.2% of GDP. (Just an fyi….the 2009 deficit under Obama was 9.9% of GDP)…..Look it up folks.

Defense spending under George W. Bush was lower than any year between 1941 and 1994. Bush’s largest defense spending year was near Jimmy Carter’s LOWEST defense spending year. President Bush took it from a historically low 3% of GDP in 2000 to a still historically low of 4%.

As for the Deregulation accusations, Bush did sign into law the Sarbanes-Oxley corporate regulations, due largely in response to the Enron affair, which occurred during the presidency of Bill Clinton. According to statistical numbers, Bush added to the regulatory powers, but there are no specifics given to show that he “deregulated” anything. The Bush administration did push for the Treasury Department to regulate Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, but this proposed regulation was STOPPED by democrats in congress, including Barney Frank.

While President Bush did enact the prescription coverage provided now under Medicare, the Democratic party was against it only because it did not expand entitlements ENOUGH, and are now using this as another jab against the former president, while leaving out anything that might reflect their role in it. In other words, if they’d had their way, it would have been much larger, more encompassing, and included other entitlements as well.

Mr. Obama has tripled our deficit, raised our debt ceiling, chased after government takeover of healthcare while more Americans lost jobs, apologized to our enemies for our country, given terrorists the rights of our citizens, and spent most of his teleprompter exercise in blaming everyone in the past for his problems. When, oh when, will a real patriotic leader come along to lead this nation once again to its former greatness, and God-given glory?

Where were you?

In November, 2008, a harvesting happened in America as a result of decades of sowing. The most progressive extremist of liberals was elected to the highest office in our nation. Nobody ever believed that America, one nation surely under God, would allow such a thing to happen, and yet it did. As a result of years of irresponsible, apathetic, and politically correct accommodation we’ve reaped the consequences. We’ve pushed God out of the schools, government, and allowed the wicked to party away our heritage. Our nation finds itself under the governance of a self-professed hater of capitalism, entrepreneurial spirit, and the pursuit of wealth. He has apologized for our greatness, rather than acknowledging that our nation is and always will be the ‘first responder’ for other nations in need. The general consensus is that the current political chaos, disrespect for our Constitution, and compromise of our moral compass has occurred due to very definite issues in the lives of Americans; which issue was yours?

APATHY……… There are too many self-absorbed citizens with their heads in the sand. A refrain I heard way too many times was… “It doesn’t matter what I do or say, it won’t make a difference”…..Then there are those that just don’t want to get involved. They’ve forgotten that their laziness and apathy was made possible by those Americans who fought, died, and sacrificed for that same freedom. Nevertheless, the apathetic and the lazy remained distant and allowed others to make decisions that they refrained from becoming involved in.

RACISM…… Always the elephant in the room, racism played perhaps the largest role, as many, many, many Americans voted for the color of the man rather than his substance, his beliefs, his patriotism, or his issues, and like the infamous O.J. Simpson, there are men and women that get away with more than the normal average person simply because of the support given them for their race. I can’t think of a more pure and visible display of racism at work than someone supporting and voting for a politician solely because of race.

GUILT……White liberals have been fed guilt for decades and they swallow it whole. The simple fact of life on the fallen, sinful planet Earth is that life is not fair, life is sometimes hard, bad things happen to good people, and we don’t control most of it. If you didn’t own a slave, and you were never a slave, it’s a non-issue, and unless and until we STOP THE MADNESS of allowing the guilt of past issues to dictate our present decisions, we will continue to repeat bad history. True equality can only happen when we take the measure of the individual man and hold it to the light of truth. We should never live in guilt as it obviously poisons our daily lives. For anyone claiming to want TRUE EQUALITY, they should not stand on the landfill of the past, but walk their present street of belief and action toward the future of their own making.

ANGER….. Many voted for disaster out of anger. Their reaction to job loss, fear, and upset with the economy left them feeling backed in a corner, choosing between what appeared to be more of the same, or a slim chance that the teleprompter may be telling a shred of truth…..and then they bought the hope- hook, line, and sinker. That hope has since died in the face of the realization that it was a charade, an act, and part of the grand plan to disassemble the America that we know and love. Thankfully, now those people are even angrier at being sold a bill of goods and are now speaking up and speaking out……….voting out the traitors in congress that have forgotten they work for their constituents. They are showing up at town hall meetings and rallies. They are calling their representatives and serving them notice that they are watching and that they will not tolerate being ignored.

And finally…….you may have been among the group that I found myself in. I knew in my soul and in my bones that this was not a good choice. Every one of us that read his policies, looked into his background, questioned his affiliations, was aware of his inexperience, and wary of his legitimacy knew that we were in for a reaping of America’s own making. Election day left me wary and disappointed, bracing for the fight I knew would have to come.

Too many Americans have lost the ideals that birthed this country. Too many Americans are more concerned with watching “The Biggest Loser” and “Oprah’s” latest book club installment to really care what happens to their children’s and grandchildren’s future. But guess what?! There are still those of us that believe in the one true Almighty God as our founders did. We believe that if God leads this nation again that we will be great again and be that home for all to live safely and successfully, under His blessings and guidance. We are still praying. We are still fighting. We are still hoping, questioning, speaking out, and holding our government officials accountable. I believe that God gave us the life that He knew we were strong enough, through Christ, to live.

A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste............

While watching the latest installment of Obama’s continuing campaign (otherwise titled the ‘State of the Union’ address), it dawned on me that we could very well be dealing with an idiot. At times I’ve thought…”narcissist”……..other times maybe “ideologue”….most of the time I do believe he is a progressive socialist…..but this is the dawning of a realization that all of the money in the world, spent on what many consider a great education, does not buy common sense. Glenn Beck made the comical remark that it was hard to watch this address without blood spurting from his eyeballs, and I have to agree. For any of us that like to pursue wisdom, apply logic, and expect that our elected leaders attempt to do the same, it was surreal at best listening to a speech full of outright lies, insults, illogical conclusions, blame, bad math, and all the while watching the ‘pop goes the weasel’ action performed by Ms. Pelosi. How very distracting that was!


Mr. Obama called for an end to bi-partisanship....proof that his logic is skewed. The Republicans are not in any position to have been a roadblock. They didn’t have enough seats in the house or the senate to have mattered. The Democrats have held a super majority for this last year and, but for their own problems within, could have ran away with whatever they desired and the Republicans didn’t have enough power to stop them. I’m sure that’s why none were included in any meetings, committees, or discussions, and I’m pretty sure that’s why they weren’t asked for input. The votes that were bought, won with bribery, or extorted were all within the Democratic party. No Republicans had to be bribed and none earned any perks. In fact, none were considered important enough to extort. Mr. Obama, it seems, can’t lead his own party.

Mr. Obama wants to double our exports……?!?!?!? What are we able to sell more cheaply than anyone else? With our labor unions and regulations, we can’t even outsell other countries here in our own country. Then we’re going to double that. What will others want two of that we make? I think I heard him imply that we’re going to be the “king of solar panels”. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that those things can be made for next to nothing in a third world country.

Like a kid with his hand caught in the cookie jar, the finger pointing and blame never stops. “He started it”…”It’s his fault”….Well, he needs to wise up. This last year was HIM. He wanted the job and the bottom fell out on his watch because of his focus on his greatness and the extreme left’s progressive thirst. Our previous administration spent less money in 8 years of office than has been spent in this last ONE. The owners of the big companies that he despises are job creating AMERICANS. The private sector is what drives our capitalist nation and took it to super power status. When people are free to think, invent, and try to make a profit, we all benefit. Big business means jobs. The so-called ‘stimulus’ was an epic fail, and renaming it a “jobs program” isn’t fooling anyone.

Stating that the people of Massachusetts voted for Scott Brown for the same reasons they voted for him lets me know that there has to be something fundamentally wrong with his brain, unless he’s in the biggest state of denial on record. THE PEOPLE, Mr. Resident, are fed up! Senator Brown ran as the “anti health-care takeover vote”! Most Americans are not in favor of living in a socialist state and have determined that they will not give up their freedom to your vanities.

It takes a bully, a fool, or someone mentally ill to publicly insult the SUPREME COURT JUSTICES OF THE UNITED STATES! Which one is he I wonder? It is obvious that he believes he is above protocol, the law, and the people of this country…..that he is immune to sticking to truth….and that he thinks very little of the American people.

The only positive rational explanation for his 70 minutes of “lies and lunacy” is that he is mentally impaired. That would also explain why his math doesn’t work, his logic is backwards, he can’t find his birth certificate, he’s afraid of a news network, he thinks terrorists are citizens and citizens are terrorists, he thinks that the people of this country are too simple minded to consult, and that it is ‘ok’ to apologize for our nation’s success, bow to our enemies, and to change our judicial system to suit his agenda.

I pray that this will be the year that he will learn that it is his job is TO SERVE THE PEOPLE and answer to their wishes, while protecting the security and constitution of this great and Godly nation. The November elections will be a time for the people to level the playing field in congress, and if the law doesn’t find Mr. Obama to be an illegitimate officeholder before 2012 and remove him, then that will be when the people will have to correct the huge mistake they made in electing what has been nothing but a daily embarrassment to this nation…..and pray that his damage can be undone.

To Watch or Not to Watch?..............
Wednesday night brings another “State of the Union” address from a president that has addressed the public more than 400 times in his first 365 days……52 of his speeches have pertained to his government takeover of health care. He has given 158 interviews and 42 press conferences. (Twice as many as George Bush gave in his first year of office.)
This begs the question….. With all of his communication, why is he still so confused as to why he’s the least popular president in modern history? I am sick to death of hearing his voice as he continuously campaigns rather than governs. There’s an old saying that goes like this… “You can’t listen when your lips are constantly moving”.
The American people have been giving voice and visible dissent to his progressive government agenda for over a year and especially those that were fooled into voting for a socialist bent on destroying and dismantling our republic, and Barak Hussein Obama has arrogantly refused to believe that he is no longer the celebrity darling that he was over a year ago.
While I would like to see which Obama will be showing up this time…..a superb actor portraying a change of heart, or the arrogant narcissist who thinks he has come to save us from our freedoms….I truly have a negative physical reaction every time I hear his voice. The pauses……..the obvious dependence on the teleprompter for script written by someone else….the lack of morality and conviction in his purpose….the absence of passion for his country… It gives me heartburn, headaches, horrible frustration, and I always feel the need to bathe afterwards.
So…… since knowledge is power, and forewarned is forearmed, I suppose it is in the best interest of all Americans that are working hard to keep America the home of the free to watch what “the resident” has up next in his arsenal . Providing I medicate beforehand with aspirin, have Tums on standby, and can get to a hot shower afterwards, all will be well………

How "Lo" Will They Go?

This video of Jennifer Lopez's appearance earlier this week on the "Lopez (as in George Lopez) Tonight" show has sparked quite a bit of conversation in light of the current political climate. Women across America have taken great offense at her disparaging of Sarah Palin. The comments that were posted underneath this video on the YouTube site tell the story of an America that is realizing celebrity elitists see themselves as our political examples.
Never before in history have I personally noticed so many, many celebrities abandon their stage to become so vocal in this dangerous progressive movement. Madonna's vulgarities on her tour concerning Governor Palin were shocking. Sharon Osbourne (is she an American anyway?) was so hateful in her speech about her that I have not watched "Ellen" since as it was on her show and Ellen laughed, rather than defend this fellow female American. Now we can add J-Lo to the list with Beyonce, Streisand, Winger, Behar, Oprah, and many other women in our country that have disappointed their gender by their radical, vocal lack of support. We may not all agree politically, but we share deeper bonds that should prevail: motherhood, the love and care of husbands, brothers, mothers, fathers, and sisters, and all of the unique things that bind women and make it necessary for us to be the absolute last to malign, mock, and tear at each other. Combined with the list of male celebrities such as George Clooney, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, (and I guess Michael Moore considers himself some sort of celebrity), and many, many more, we have a group of actors and actresses that see themselves as more intelligent and more knowledgeable about what normal Americans need than we ourselves do! I'm sure, like me, you're aware that most of our current celebrity population consists of high school dropouts, very few college attendees, and carries a high rate of addiction and rehabilitation. Many have served time in prison. My conclusion is that these people see some sort of validation for their inadequacies in aligning themselves with someone whose ideas are as 'out there' as their own, and that could never possibly make them feel inferior or less intelligent because their most recent choice of presidential candidate has yet to even prove himself legitimate. As I decided earlier and have indicated in my previous blog "Political Boycott", I am making new decisions about where I spend my money. I will no longer be spending money knowingly on anyone or anything that stands ready to disassemble my country or it's values. I will no longer be buying progressive magazines that have sold their purpose to progressives. I will no longer be seeing movies or buying music produced by these anti-Americans, and I will be thinking and paying much more attention to what I watch, where I make purchases, and what organizations I support. Money doesn't buy happiness.....that comes from building a peaceful relationship through Jesus Christ....but money gives us the power of choice here and allows us to exercise our beliefs in a very powerful way. We can make a difference. Join me in making sure 'evil' doesn't profit from your God-given resources.

Revolution Begins!

Last night in Massachusetts, another revolution began........with another shot heard around the world. Senator Scott Brown won the senate seat held by the late Ted Kennedy, in a 'blue state'......a state that has been predominantly Democratic for over 40 years.
This is not a Republican victory, but a PEOPLE'S VICTORY! This candidate rose to popularity in the last months due to the push of the Tea Party movement and a growing independent party that is fed up with government as usual, a president that lies, and progressives that are bent on destroying our republic.
In opposition to name calling by the progressives in power, and against an elitist media machine, the spirit of the American people is awakened and galvanized and I, as are many, am praying that God will once again give us the strength to win back our nation, rid it of the progressive parasites that have eaten away the democratic party, and parts of the republican party, and be glorified once again in this America...one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Today, a group called "Obama Release Your Records" has initiated a barrage against the White House, encouraging calls, faxes, emails, and postings on their FaceBook page with messages demanding that Obama release his records and prove his legitimacy to be president. We are asking that he stop using our tax money to pay hordes of attorneys to hide these legal documents that the rest of us are liable to produce for everything from travel and driver's licenses to school enrollment and insurance sign ups. A petition for suit has been filed with the Supreme Court and we will wait to see how this unfolds.
BUT don't stop working, praying,and hoping...........this is just the beginning! There is still much to be done between now and November when the people take back Congress. Congress began taking the power from the people (beginning in the early 1900's) and that is not as our constitution intended it to be. We have to continue the momentum as patriots to insure that the future generations of Americans remain free and live in liberty so don't stop now!! The 2010 Revolution has just begun...............

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire!

Senator Joe Wilson from S.C. took quite a lot of criticism for stating the obvious in a televised address by Obama, and was scolded for the manner in which he interrupted the speech with a shouted "YOU LIE!" Many news pundits, and certainly a gaggle of liberals, loved taking him to task over his bad manners, but there wasn't a lot of emphasis placed on the SUBSTANCE of what Senator Wilson said.......Obama has lied and contiues to lie. I, for one, can certainly understand the frustration that forced that reaction and I'm glad to see many, many more Americans awakening to the realization that they (I say "they" because I knew better than to vote for this candidate) were sold a bill of goods by a habitual liar that will do and say whatever needs to be said to accomplish his goals and agenda.

Quoting candidate Obama.....To achieve health care reform, "I'm going to have all the negotiations around a big table. We'll have doctors and nurses and hospital administrators. Insurance companies, drug companies -- they'll get a seat at the table, they just won't be able to buy every chair. But what we will do is, we'll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents, and who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies. And so, that approach, I think is what is going to allow people to stay involved in this process."

I think the saddest part of this administration is that this president still insists he is doing a better job than the previous one. Denial is his strongest ally. Even his promise to heal the country and work together with all parties to achieve compromise never got off the ground. Each day that he is in office is another day that the American people are angered, offended, cheated, lied to, or betrayed. There has not been one day that has come and gone with no political fiasco or embarrasment. While it is reported that his right to hold office is being legally examined due to the millions of dollars his attorneys have spent avoiding the release of his proper birth certificate and proof of citizenship, he stirs the pot of discontent, division, and racism while resorting to name calling when he's confronted with opposition.

Whether one agrees with an officeholder's political agenda or not.........lying is NOT what we expect or respect in our government officials and from our Commander in Chief.

Real Hope for Real Change

If you are following the awesome and inspiring election proceedings in Boston this week, this is a "must see" video! For the first time in over 50 years, a Democratic stronghold is in danger, and rightly so!! Republican Steve Brown is fighting for the late Senator Ted Kennedy's seat and people across the nation are fighting along with him. For the first time in my lifetime I am witnessing a NATIONAL bonding with people crossing state lines to become involved in ALL elections that affect their nation, not just their local ones. In order for the American majority to remove the socialists that are dismantling our nation from office, January 19th could be an important step in beginning to get it done. Pray for Mr. Brown. Help if you can by passing along the information, raising awareness so that other voices of support can be heard. Let fellow Americans in Boston know that you are counting on them to get out and vote!! Campaigns and ads take money, so if you can afford to send a small donation, then do that as well. Share this video with others that are fighting this battle and feeling the fatigue. It truly will inspire you to keep pushing for real change, with real hope for our future! Dead Silence

I, too, believe that there are eternal ramifications based on what we do here. It is imperative that God's people, and especially those that seem to have taken a vow of apathetic silence, speak up and speak out for truth, liberty, and justice. We WILL be held accountable for our action.....and as importantly, our non-action.
In the book of Ezekiel, God called this prophet to speak of His coming divine judgement on the obstinate and rebellious nation of Israel........"He said, 'Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me; they have been in revolt against me to this very day. The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. In the book of Esther, it was Esther's action that saved her people according to God's divine plan for her life......"Do not think that because you are in the king's house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?" Esther 4:13-14
Our history as the people of God is filled and overflowing with our activity and obedience to God's glory.... We must not only believe God's truths, we are required to speak them. "I believed therefore I have spoken" 2 Cor: 4:13. Our words of faith have so much power in this world. In order for God to use our faith and be His hands and feet, we must first move off of our sofas, out of our apathy, and away from the worldly distractions thrown at us for the sole purpose of rendering us ineffective. We are fighting a spiritual battle for the life of our nation and it's purpose to the world as a beacon of Christ and His freedoms. That light is to direct others to the saving truths of God's word and purposes and in our deadly silence as Christians, we are giving up, waving a white flag to evil, and allowing fear, laziness, doubt, ignorance, and apathy to steal truth and salvation and believe this my friends..........there WILL be a price to pay for this deadly silence.
What purpose would God's armor serve if we didn't need to fight? A belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit isn't needed by a silenced and nonparticipating Christian soldier.
Be strong, be courageous and remember that your God is mighty to save. He is great and awesome and He will sustain you! He has never forsaken those that seek Him. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

Speaking God's truth and standing up for what is right and against what is evil is never easy. But it is our calling to be a light in the darkness, and it is the only hope a lost dying world and a captive nation have.
So, I will continue to pray that more and more of my brothers and sisters in Christ would awaken from their dead silence. Everything we do and everything we don't do will have eternal ramifications as well as serious ones in this time that God has placed us in. If He didn't have a purpose for us now, in this place, and in this time, then He'd take us home. We are not here to be slaves to anyone or anything, including slothfulness, fear, reality t.v., political correctness, or world acceptance.

The State of Hypocrisy

Whether it's due to a practice of living in denial, feeling entitled, or just being plain selfish, there seems to be a chronic epidemic in our culture today....a formal, visible, and shameless state of hypocrisy.
Neighbors think it's ok for their daily activities to infringe upon your rights: permanent street parking, unruly children, destructive pets, loud parties, etc., but you are expected to abide by the homeowner's association rules at all times. Most drivers feel that traffic lights and signs are for those "other people" that are not as important as themselves. After all, they NEED to drive through that red light to get the best parking space for themselves at work! Why NOT pull out in front of an oncoming car? Isn't what they're doing and their agenda of greater importance that the safety of others?
And then are the 'cell addicts' that use their phones to text, catch up, and work themselves into a fit while driving, shopping, and working around us. Their communicating, oftentimes very loudly, is a priority and those around them will just have to get over it, or accept that their car is totalled in sacrifice to their conversation and it's importance on the food chain.
How about the intolerant, tolerant liberal left?! We can discuss and worship tree frogs, witches, the occult, and idolize celebrities, but the awesome and holy name of Jesus causes chokes, sputters, and rage from the intolerant tolerant. (It's still the name above all names, praise God!)
 The tip of the hypocritical iceberg: I should be allowed to do as I please....but not you.
Finally, our corrupt administration and congress must be brought up as well as they seem to be setting the standard...........We who pay their salaries must sit in stunned, incapicitated apathy while they arrange our country as they see fit.....AS LONG AS THEY DON'T HAVE TO FOLLOW THE SAME RULES THEY SET UP FOR THE REST OF US!
I think many Americans, like myself, are becoming increasingly fed up with this state of affairs and I personally predict some major rebellion, uprising, and the occasional traffic smack downs. I no longer see horrible accidents on the news and ask "how?"..........I know how.
The saving grace is just that.........God's saving grace. I thank Him that I'm just passing through such a place and ask Him for strength to not only walk with Him daily, but be a light that will direct others through and out of what is becoming an even darker place. I pray that while I am here, " for such a time as this", that I can continue to work for real moral change in the world around me, leaving a legacy for my children and future Americans.

Looking for Peace In All The Wrong Places....

All pageant contestants know this answer...."I would wish for world peace". All presidential candidates promise to insure our peace with other countries. There are even ambassadors earning a living working to preserve peace between their assigned country and ours.
I can't begin to count how many conversations I've had with recent democratic presidential supporters that claim their new "prince" has promised peace between the races, political parties, and the nations, when Barack Hussein Obama won his election due in no small part to racism itself.
We wait on peace with the Middle East, and in the Middle East.....our political leaders want to "sit and chat" with our sworn enemy terrorists in an attempt at 'peace'..........We try to manipulate peace between Israel and her enemies.....
Here's the truth from the beginning and the end, and from the alpha and the omega, Jesus himself:
"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." Matthew 10:34 Jesus came to bring salvation and reconciliation between man and his creator and gifts us with the "sword of the spirit". The ruler of THIS world is the prince of darkness, author of lies, and creator of chaos. This world is a dying creation spiraling toward it's date with The Almighty, at such time when it will be destroyed and the "New Jerusalem" will take it's place and all of God's children will dwell with Him forever. "Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." Matt. 24:35
Jesus said..."In this world you will have trouble, but take heart! I have overcome the world." John16:33

So I think believers can safely assume that we can stop expecting the climate to stop shifting, wars to occur, politicians to be greedy, people to be racist, and I don't think until Jesus returns we will see an end here to theft, adultery, lying, perversions, idolatry, addiction, and disappointments. I think it's a waste of time to put everything one believes into a political affiliation thinking that being a democrat means that we can stop racism, make all things equal, end poverty and hunger, hold hands with all nations and sing "We are the world", giving credit to the mighty "O". (Well, maybe both "mighty O's" ?:) There is no SECRET that will fix you. There is no special book that will bring peace to the author's audience.
This world is temporary, dying to sin, decaying and groaning for the Creator to return and restore it, and the evil one is on the loose.......for now.
It is in our best interest to seek the only real peace that exists on this side of Heaven from our Saviour who promises us "peace like a river"....(Rivers by the way are not sedentary little swimming pools....they're ever changing, exciting, and rushing to a destination!)....and promises us that whatever we pass through in this life, He never leaves us, forsakes us, or slumbers while watching over us. He has empowered us with His word to SPEAK scripture to action and asked us to BELIEVE HIM for it....that He is who He says He is, can do what He promises, that we are His, and that His word is alive and active in us, allowing us to do all things through Christ! Amen? We are empowered to ask in the holy name of Jesus and promised an answer, even if that answer is "My Grace is Sufficient" and not what we are expecting, He will show us His awesome glory through any trial He walks us through. He has promised in Romans 8:28 to work all things to the good FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM. That, my friends, is our peace!
Please don't make the mistake of looking for peace in the news, from science, from politics, celebreties, or expecting that it will come "if only"....... "if only you lose weight", "if only we could figure out why these muslims don't like us and how to fix that"........It ain't gonna happen. We are sinners in a sinful world and the absence of sin would only mean one thing.........Jesus has returned, and Oh what glorious peace that will mean! Don't waste precious time looking for peace in this world..........look to the Almighty Healer, God of Creation, who knew you before you were born and who knows every hair on your head. Rest in Him and know peace.

Exercise your Power of Choice!...a Patriotic Boycott!

It dawned on me as I recently cancelled two of my magazine subscriptions, that in addition to the awesome power God gives His children in this world to make a difference for His kingdom, we have a unique way in our world economy of making ourselves heard and making our values ring loud and clear!.....With our money!
I had become so exhausted with two of my once favorite fashion magazines that I finally gave up. I was sick and tired of reading articles glorifying our new socialist government, reading ads for VERY EXPENSIVE globally aware chic, and having Michelle Obama shoved down my throat as a fashion mentor while watching the Ralph Lauren model be fired for gaining five pounds. Michelle Obama may be a very nice person and I hope she's a good mother, but 'fashion icon, she ain't!' Jackie O? Oh no! And what's up with the first dog? Aren't we dealing with a new wave of terrorists threats, double digit unemployment, and a mounting debt that we have no hope of ever paying off?! Why should I care that the first dog took his new owners on a stroll? Climate Gate is another story.....I no longer want to buy products that support such a sham, including girl scout cookies..(Check out the Americans for Prosperity site for video made in Copenhagen of where these cookie dollars go, globally...even here).

This rebellious magazine cancellation move inspired me to think even bigger.........WHY should I be putting my very hard earned dollars in the hands of those socialists and liberals that are dismantling my country? Think about it.....I've not been able to see another George Clooney movie as he gave me a permanent case of "Clooney revulsion" watching him campaign so hard for Obama. I no longer care to hear anything that Madonna has to sing about, and Oprah?! Forget that........can't turn it on, even to watch Sara Palin. I stopped watching Ellen after she allowed Sharon Osbourne (not even an American) to speak horribly of Governor Palin and her family and sat back and laughed as she did it. I'm pretty sick and tired of the Hollywood celebrity group that loves to campaign rather than sticking to their "day job" making millions, and allowing their state of California to go bankrupt.....pretty crazy, huh?
So...here's my plan.......I think if I were looking for a new employee, and a candidate drove up in a car with an Obama '08 sticker, I'd put that application in the "hope for change" stack and move on. If you need wrapping paper, buy it from a family's child that is working for and supporting values in our country that you believe in. If your hair dresser preaches liberalism and socialim at you during your cut or blow out, find a new one. If you're looking for dance classes, or martial arts classes for your child, find a fellow Christian conservative that offers them....They are out there!
Network with the people that share your beliefs and values and choose to use and support their services and businesses over those that don't. Support Christian small businesses and restaurants. Check out your bank and find out what their connections are and what they do with your money. Pay attention where you put your dollars. It makes no sense to give money to those that will turn around and use it to destroy what you hold most dear. Ask questions, get information, and read up on your providers. If you are looking for an alternative to AARP, check out Gen-A., a more conservative organization. With the majority of Americans sharing certain beliefs and values, it is simply a matter of doing your homework, and shouldn't be hard to easily find a fellow patriot for every need. The "key", I believe is to explain your reason. It will be much more effective for my two former magazine suppliers to know exactly why I am now turned off by their product than for them to assume mere economics. Let your grocer, hairdresser, baker, neighbor, banker, manicurist, florist, service station and car care provider (and everyone that you pay for services) know that where your heart is, your money follows.
My belief is that this is part of being a good steward with what God entrusts me with.

I'd like to get something off my chest........I'm not a racist. I'm a patriot. I'm descended from immigrants like most Americans, but I'm feeling a little devastated that somewhere in the last two decades that SPIRIT of being one country, with one vision, one main dream, one flag, and under the guidance of the one true God became lost amidst the idol known as "political correctness"......or perhaps the one known as "diversity"?

It offends me that there are now criminal elements in our country's population that are not only allowed to remain criminal and FREE, they are entitled to all of my rights with none of my same burden of taxes or service. For those who come to this country with the purest of intentions, and do so legally, I say "Welcome", but I'd also like to add that an important part of belonging in America is to WANT TO BECOME AN AMERICAN. Learn to speak the language. Learn a little of our history. Serve. Pay taxes. Pay your bills. Make our flag your flag, our people your people, and pledge your allegiance to your new country. We speak English as a primary language, and it is a travesty that I would have to be faced with a bilingual service industry, medical industry, employers, traffic instructions, grocery store, and have everything I purchase in my country from medicine to crock pots come with double language on the front of the box. Somewhere along the line, the UN became confused with the United States of America.
In the last year, a company I independently contract with adopted a completely separate set of literature, separate company training in Spanish, and offers two flags to sign on to our site IN THE UNITED STATES....(When did we adopt a second flag?) I do not participate simply because I believe that it is this formal encouragement of separatism that makes us separate. It encourages people to stay apart rather than learn to come together as one common people. It supports the ridiculous terms : "African American", "Asian American", "Irish American", etc..........Aren't we all AMERICANS?!
Anyone working and living in this country LEGALLY should be able to speak enough of the language to ask simple rudimentary questions, or be excited and willing to learn to do so.
Above all else, a new American should be patriotic enough, desirous enough, and proud enough of coming here to start a new life living the American Dream to make the effort to assimilate rather than start another 'country within a country'.
I have made it a habit to let banks, stores, my company, and manufacturers know that, when possible, I support products and services that DO NOT require me to select between my native language and another.
Should I decide to pick up my life and move to another country, rest assured that I will make every effort to learn it's language, it's laws, and it's customs and make the commitment to fit in or leave.

Woman to Woman

You know, sometimes it's us women that disappoint each other the most. I understand that Ms. Pelosi is a mother of five, and a grandmother of seven. I also am aware that she comes from a political family, raised by a father that served as the mayor of Baltimore, followed by five terms in Congress. What I DON'T understand is how a woman that has supposedly nurtured children and grandchildren could completely throw away concern for their lives and futures by participating in the destruction of her country and the country that they all have to live, learn, work, and seek health care in!
Most parents recognize that their children often "do what they do, not what they say", and are aware that we leave those children and grandchildren legacies. I pray that my legacy for my sons will include things like, putting people before things, trusting God in all situations and putting him first, having a servant's heart, and being thankful and appreciative for the wonderful country that our ancestors sacrificed for us to live in. I have taught them respect for our servicemen, and pride in our history. We have let them know that there is no greater country in the world, and that is by God's grace and mercy.
How shocking it is that Speaker Pelosi will leave a legacy to her family of 'power at all costs' (even their futures), extortion is ok if it serves your purpose, American people are ignorant of what's best for them, that it's ok to make laws for everyone but the elite (of which she is one), deception is simply part of the job, and the Constitution for which so many of our founding families sacrificed their lives and livelihoods is merely a worthless piece of paper when it doesn't serve one's purpose. She has taught her family that work done in 'the dark' is worthwhile, and to malign, harass, and vilify those that disagree with your opinions is necessary. The tolerance she teaches is one-sided.
My sympathies to the family of such a woman.

Sleep Walking

When you're in your golden years, and you're telling the story of the fall of America to any grandchildren you're able to have, what will you say your part in it was? Like the moon landing, and the assassination of JFK, most people have clear memories of what they were doing at the time.
While evil was elected in November 2008, with the help of the celebrity idols what were you doing?...... Were you catching up on a reality show?
When liars and thieves in congressional costumes were plotting behind closed doors and commiting extortion, bribery, and raping our constitution, where were you? Were you standing in a midnight line outside a movie theater for vampire movie tickets?
I think much more than the shock of what our anti-American socialist administration is doing to dismantle the country, the disappointment I feel in a lot of my "fellow Americans" has been much more hurtful. I have heard people say..."I don't really care"........I've seen people bury their heads in t.v., shopping, and their jobs, making the assumption that 'someone else' will fix this. Did anyone look up from their mall shopping during the holiday season, or hanging their lights, to find out what filth was going on under our very noses? What horrible deeds were being done that may affect all of our futures and our familie's futures?
See........WE left the door unlocked. WE dropped the ball. As a nation, we have become so obsessed with talk show hosts and their newest religion, the latest celebrity scandal, and our own self improvement, that our freedoms are being stolen. Our rights are being sold. Our morals have hit the skids, and Oh! America!........We are reaping what we've sown, more than we've sown, and later than we've sown.
